HALLÓ PART 3 – NEW

Halló everyone! This is me,  exploring the nature of beauty the magical island of Iceland has to offer. There are many topics to discuss on this part of my trip, but I’ll get straight to the point because everyone wants to know: What are the top places to see and do in Iceland (while taking some Instagram-worthy photos), what am I wearing and where you can get them.  There’s a lot of areas to cover during my stay in Iceland, which is why I’ve divided into three parts. Enjoy the ride as you follow @TravelStyleBug!

Jokulsarlon Lagoon

After an exhausting 8-hour drive, we finally made it to Jokulsarlon Lagoon where we got to see the large glaciers that have been there for years! We hopped on a motorboat and drove around all the existing glaciers in the water. Our tour guide literally picked up a 50-year old piece of ice which she smashed a piece for us to cool our mouths.

Fun Fact:  Die Another Day and the 2001 Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie were both filmed at Jokusarlon Lagoon area.

Skogarfoss waterfalls!

This 14-hour excursion was coming to an end, but not before we get one last glimpse of Skogarfoss Waterfalls. I wish the photos turned out better because these would be Instagram-worthy photos but take a look and let me know what you think:

Back to the City of Reykjavik

We had some time to explore the city of Reykjavik and stumbled to Hallgrímskirkja Church. Not much to it other than the interesting architecture and taking to the top of the building to capture the #views of downtown Reykjavik:
